In 2013, there were about 152 million blogs floating around the Internet. I can only imagine the number has doubled (or tripled) since then. Today there will be one more added to that ever-growing number, as I am starting a blog. Welcome!
Why am I taking the plunge into the blogosphere? Several reasons- I cannot individually talk to each of the people I work with on a daily basis and this platform is the easiest, and most permanent way, to share what I am thinking about and value the most.
My posts will range from leadership and people management to health and the growth of technological items that I believe help us stay grounded in an industry that is constantly changing so quickly.
This will not be a blog for startups in the middle of the pre-revenue stage or even in a hyper-growth phase. Instead, this blog will be geared towards operating companies with a focused market, market presence and a large enough staff with an existing management layer- not just a “working supervisor” level.
I hope that my written thoughts and personal observations can benefit the readers that come across this blog; may you find something of interest here, something to ignite a passion or stimulate an interest, something to lead you down another rabbit hole. Likewise, I hope this experience can gauge my inspiration and allow me to grow alongside those of you who are interested.
